EMS-126
The EMS-126 is an update to the ever-popular EMS-122 fullrange loudspeaker. The EMS-126 is a compact, powerful fullrange loudspeaker intended for a wide variety of applications – both mobile and permanently installed. Whilst the internal components have been updated, the EMS-126 identical to the original EMS-122 and is fully compatible with the same flying hardware. S-15, S-215 or S-18 subwoofers can be added to extend system response where required. The EMS-126 is completely passive yet outperforms many bi-amplified or processed designs.
  • True passive design – no corrective DSP required
  • Wide and narrow dispersion variants in identical enclosure footprints
  • 35mm polemount
  • Rotatable 60° x 40° waveguide
  • Flexible rigging and mounting options
  • Compatible with OmniMount™ and Powerdrive brackets
  • Impact and weather resistant black, and textured white finishes as standard
  • RAL colour and weather protection options

Updated with new components and cabinet structure, the enclosure contains a 12” (305mm) neodymium LF drive unit, linked via the internal passive crossover network to a 3” (76mm) diaphragm, 1.4” (36mm) exit HF compression drive unit. The HF drive unit is coupled to a constant-directivity waveguide which produces a 60° x 40° dispersion pattern, rotatable for maximum flexibility, and along with the multi-angle enclosure this allows stage monitor use if required.

The robust enclosure is constructed from premium multi-laminate Birch plywood and is finished in a rugged black textured polyurethane or white textured paint as standard, though RAL colour matching and weather-protected outdoor options are available.. Two NL4 connections are provided on the rear for input and enclosure link. The front of the loudspeaker is protected by a rigid steel grille backed with acoustically transparent fabric. A flush bar handle, 35mm polemount socket and various threaded fixings are provided in the enclosure for optional rigging hardware.

The EMS-126 requires a single amplifier channel, and should be used with professional power amplifiers capable of delivering 750-1000W RMS into an 8-ohm load. For optimum results, the EM Acoustics DQ10 or DQ20 Advanced System Amplifiers should be used.
