Optimally tuned vented enclosure delivers excellent transient response
Compact size and low weight for ease of use and installation
High excursion 15″ LF drive unit
The enclosure is constructed from premium grade multi-laminate Birch plywood and is finished in impact resistant paint. Two flush handles, rubber feet and mating recesses and a pole adapter (either 35mm or M20 threaded) are provided for flexibility when in use.
The enclosure is finished in black textured paint as standard, however weather-protection options as well as custom RAL code colours are also possible. Two NL4 connections are recessed into the rear to allow for neat cabling, or even to stand the subwoofer on-end when used in installation environments where space is a premium. Threaded points are provided on the rear for attaching optional castors for mobile applications.
The EMS-115C can add low frequency power and extension to systems based around the EMS-61, EMS-81X or EMS-121X fullrange enclosures. The EMS-115C requires active high/low pass filters and a single amplifier channel capable of delivering 800-1000W RMS into an 8 ohm load. For optimum results, the EM Acoustics DQ10 or DQ20 Advanced System Amplifiers, or the AQ-10 or AD-9 power amplifier in conjunction with the DSC48 system controller (for loudspeaker filter slopes and protection) should be used.
